Jakarta: The State of Qatar, in collaboration with the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, led the inaugural session of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ambassadors accredited to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN. This significant meeting was held at the ASEAN Secretariat headquarters in Jakarta on Wednesday. According to Qatar News Agency, the session was chaired by Saad Mohammed Al Emadi, the Acting Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Indonesia. The main agenda of the meeting was to explore and discuss the enhancement of cooperation ties between the GCC countries and ASEAN, focusing on strengthening diplomatic and economic relations in the region.
