Doha: The "Art of Podcast Making" course, organized by the Qatar Media Center affiliated with the Ministry of Culture, concluded Wednesday and continued for four consecutive days. The training course was dedicated to the age group from 14 to 20 years, and was presented by trainer Mohammed Al-Saadi. It sought to introduce participants to one of the most important digital media outlets that has become widely followed by different ages for the information and interviews it provides, some of which have garnered millions of views. The course covered the most important knowledge that must be mastered in the world of podcasting, the difference between podcasting and vodcasting and the advantages of each type, as well as the similarities between them and how to differentiate between them, whether at the reception level or at the work level, and the importance of that due to its repercussions on the nature of the content provided and the target group. The training course also addressed how to prepare podcast conten t, what sources can be used, how to choose topics that can be presented, the importance of choosing the right guests, as well as the need to interact with topics that have a popular base. The participants in the course learned about a set of skills that those wishing to enter this field must possess, including how to control voice and body language, how to benefit from speaking skills, vocal communication, interaction with the guest, and dealing with the microphone. At the end of the training course, certificates of participation were distributed to the attendees, and the Qatar Media Center shield was presented to the trainer, Mohammed Al-Saadi. In a statement, Director of the Qatar Media Center Iman Al-Kaabi expressed her happiness with the level of interaction with the training course, noting that the course is one of the distinguished training courses presented at the center, as it shed light on one of the most rapidly spreading and circulating digital media. She said that the Center aims through this training course to provide young people with skills and capabilities that enable them to enter this world that has become widely spread and highly interactive, noting that there is a great desire today among a segment of young people to enter this world that has become an important knowledge platform. The Director of the Qatar Media Center called on all those wishing to benefit from the training courses provided by the Qatar Media Center to follow the center's digital platforms and see what's new, noting that all training courses and workshops provided by the Center are free.
