Doha: The Qatari men's beach volleyball team, featuring the talented duo Cherif Younousse and Ahmed Tijan, has made a significant leap in the latest world rankings released by the International Volleyball Federation. The team has impressively climbed from their previous tenth position to now hold the sixth spot.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari team secured their sixth place standing with a total of 5,120 points. Norway's Anders Berntsen Mol and Christian Sorum continue to dominate the rankings, retaining their top position with 8,600 points.
The latest rankings also saw Argentina's Nicolas Capogrosso and Tomas Capogrosso advance to second place for the first time, amassing 6,820 points. The Dutch team, consisting of Steven van de Velde and Matthew Immers, ascended to third place, while the Swedish pair, David €¦hman and Jonatan Hellvig, experienced a drop to fourth.
The Qatari team's consistent and strong performances on the international stage underscore their determination to achieve greater success in the ongoing season.
