Doha: 27 June 2024 Qatar Museums (QM) announced a vibrant lineup of activities and events in store for the month of July, featuring summer camps, arts and crafts workshops, museum tours, storytelling sessions, and a Family Day. The National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ) will host various programmes throughout July, including a summer camp, digital workshops, and a tour of the AI Centre. The Summer Camp "Wealth of Qatar" (for ages 8 to 10) will run from July 1 to 3, in addition to two workshops; Design for Games (for ages 11 to 18) on July 7 and 9 and Chatbot (for ages 12 to 18) on July 18 and 25. NMoQ will also host a tour in the AI Centre on July 11. Qatar Museums' Archeology and Heritage department will host summer camps titled Artefacts Workshop for children on July 8 and for adults on July 10. The programs will be held at Fahd Bin Ali Palace. The Arab Museum of Modern Art will host workshops on animation and story/book production, including 'Beyond the Frame: Youth Animation Workshop' on 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10 , 11, 13 July and a workshop titled 'Let's Make Books and Stories' on July 15 and 17. Meanwhile, the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) will host storytelling sessions, various art workshops for children and adults, and a Family Day activity. The 'Story Time at MIA Library' will be held on July 1, and the workshop titled 'An Artist's Adventure' (for ages 5 to 7) on July 6, while the 'Family Day Activity: Wood' will be held on July 13. The workshop 'Watercolour Painting' will be held on July 20, and the 'Creative Work by Arabic Calligraphy' workshop will be held on the 24th of the same month. Dadu, Children's Museum of Qatar will host a summer camp at the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, titled 'Explore Health, Wellness, and the Environment' (for ages 8 to 11) on June 30and July 1.
