Qatar National Bank Releases New Deposit Rates

Doha: Deposit rates at Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been announced, detailing the interest rates across various currencies and time deposits. The rates, released on Monday, cover currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD, with terms ranging from one month to twelve months.

According to Qatar News Agency, the USD deposit rates start at 4.32224% for a one-month term and decrease slightly to 4.06557% for a twelve-month term. For the Japanese yen (JPY), the rates vary from 0.35000% for a one-month deposit to 0.55000% for a twelve-month deposit. The Swiss franc (CHF) has negative deposit rates, starting at -0.01000% for a one-month term and reaching -0.11000% for a twelve-month term. The British pound (GBP) deposit rates begin at 4.14000% for one month and rise to 4.35000% for a twelve-month term.

The Qatari riyal (QAR) deposit rates begin at 4.85000% for a one-month term, with a gradual decrease to 4.50000% for a twelve-month deposit. The Saudi riyal (SAR) rates range from 4.90000% for one month to 4.80000% for twelve months. The UAE dirham (AED) deposit rates start at 2.05000% for a one-month term, increasing to 3.15000% over twelve months. Lastly, the Bahraini dinar (BHD) rates are 5.25000% for a one-month deposit and decrease to 4.85000% for a twelve-month period.
