Qatar National Bank Releases Updated Deposit Rates

Doha: Deposit rates at the Qatar National Bank (QNB) were announced on Monday, revealing the latest figures for multiple currencies including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD. These rates, which vary based on the duration of the deposit, provide insights into the current financial landscape in Qatar.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for the USD are as follows: a one-month deposit stands at 4.31519%, two months at 4.30957%, three months at 4.30394%, six months at 4.25772%, and twelve months at 4.17911%. For the JPY, the rates are 0.35000% for one month, dipping to 0.14000% for two months, and then stabilizing at 0.30000% for three months, 0.21000% for six months, and 0.55000% for twelve months.

The CHF rates are 0.31000% for a one-month deposit, rising slightly to 0.32000% for two months, but showing a negative rate at three months with -0.02000%, then moving to 0.14000% for six months and 0.21000% for twelve months. The GBP rates are 4.42000% for one month, 4.41000% for both two and three months, 4.35000% for six months, and increasing slightly to 4.43000% for twelve months.

For the QAR, the deposit rates start at 4.85000% for one month, decrease to 4.75000% for two months, 4.65000% for three months, and 4.50000% for six months, before settling at 4.45000% for twelve months. The SAR rates are 4.90000% for one month, rising to 5.00000% for two months, 5.10000% for three months, peaking at 5.20000% for six months, and then returning to 5.10000% for twelve months.

AED deposit rates are set at 2.05000% for one month, 2.15000% for two months, 2.40000% for three months, 2.85000% for six months, and 3.15000% for twelve months. Lastly, BHD rates are consistently at 5.00000% for one, two, three, and six months, with a slight decrease to 4.50000% for twelve months.
