Doha: Qatari newspapers on Friday devoted their editorials to the Qatar National Day celebrations, highlighting the National Day Parade attended by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani as a powerful expression of national unity, leadership-people cohesion, and the country's security and development achievements.
According to Qatar News Agency, the editorials underscored the broad participation of citizens and residents, the display of Qatar's military and security readiness, and the distinctive Arab symbolism of this year's celebrations, coinciding with the final of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025. In an editorial titled "Arab Nation Celebrates Qatar National Day," Al-Sharq noted that the celebrations extended beyond Qatar's borders, becoming a shared Arab occasion embraced across the region, from the Atlantic to the Gulf. The newspaper mentioned that millions across the Arab world followed the events in Doha, reflecting Qatar's growing regional and international stature.
The editorial stated that the celebrations began with the National Day Parade on the Doha Corniche, attended by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and concluded with the final match of the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 between Morocco and Jordan. The parade reflected the high level of readiness of Qatar's armed forces and security services, while conveying clear messages of pride, unity, and solidarity.
