The State of Qatar is participating in the 91st annual General Session of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), which is being held in Paris, France, from May 26 to 30. Qatar's delegation is headed by HE Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, with the attendance of HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the French Republic Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al-Thani. This session includes representatives from 182 member countries of the WOAH and delegates from relevant international organizations. The World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) focuses on providing expertise and promoting international solidarity to combat animal diseases, establishing health standards for international trade in animals and animal products, and collecting, analyzing, and disseminating veterinary scientific information.
