Sharm el-sheikh: The State of Qatar took part in the 79th meeting of the Governing Board of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), which commenced on Monday in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, and is scheduled to run for two days. Hamad Ahmed Al Sulaiti, the Assistant President of the State Audit Bureau for Audit and Financial Inspection, is representing Qatar at this significant gathering.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on evaluating reports related to the implementation of INTOSAI's activities and examining the efficiency of resource utilization. Additionally, the financial statements for 2024 and the estimated budget for 2026-2028 were approved. The discussions also included assessments of the operations of INTOSAI's affiliated regional bodies.
