The State of Qatar participated in the Qassim Real Estate Forum, organized by the Chamber of Commerce at the King Fahd Cultural Center in Unaizah, Saudi Arabia. The Qatari delegation was headed by Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority Eng. Khalid bin Ahmed Al Obaidli, who met on the sidelines of the forum with Governor of Al Qassim region HRH Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The two sides reviewed aspects of mutual cooperation and ways to enhance and develop them. During the meeting, the Chairman of the Authority praised the legislative and executive measures undertaken by Saudi Arabia to regulate this vital sector, which is a driver of the renaissance and progress of the GCC countries. He also commended the achievements of the Real Estate General Authority of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of Eng. Abdullah bin Saud Al Hammad, which has contributed to establishing a comprehensive real estate system to be emulated. For his part, the Governor of Al Qassim Region app reciated Qatar's participation, represented by the Chairman of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority and his accompanying delegation, in the Qassim Real Estate Forum. He acknowledged the distinguished role Qatar plays in showcasing the best regional and global experiences and practices related to the real estate sector, supporting, improving, and providing an outstanding climate to attract real estate investment to the entire region. Eng. Al Hammad also participated in the meeting. He expressed his happiness with the Qatari delegation's participation in the Qassim Real Estate Forum. The Authority's participation in this event comes as part of its strategy to develop the legislative infrastructure and enhance the real estate sector in the state, in line with efforts to diversify the national economy and in accordance with the objectives of the third National Development Strategy. The Qassim Real Estate Forum, which serves as an important economic real estate platform involving several leaders and pioneers in the real estate sector, aims to enhance development opportunities, provide valuable insights into real estate market trends and the latest solutions in real estate development, as well as increase networking and acquaintance opportunities among those interested in this sector, thereby strengthening opportunities for cooperation and strategic partnerships among participants.
