The editorial reviewed the developmental steps witnessed by Qatar's education system, including the integration of educational technologies, the expansion of e-learning, and the use of smart platforms, all of which enhance students' digital skills and support modern teaching methods.
Al Raya affirmed that Qatar places education at the heart of its developmental and strategic plans, stemming from a firm conviction that investing in people is the most sustainable form of investment. Building a modern education system open to technology and scientific research forms the basis for achieving Qatar National Vision 2030 and strengthening the country's regional and international standing in the fields of human development and knowledge.
The paper said that the adopted educational policies reflect a clear orientation toward developing curricula, raising the quality of educational outcomes, promoting innovation and digital transformation, and achieving justice and equal opportunities, through the adoption of modern educational models, the expansion of early childhood and inclusive education, and the diversification of academic, technical, and vocational pathways.
In this context, Al Raya added that the integration of modern technologies led by AI and cybersecurity has received growing attention, not only as educational tools but as essential skills for building an aware generation capable of responsible technology use, logical and critical thinking, and innovation across various fields.
The newspaper noted that this approach has been reflected in the notable results and achievements of Qatari students in scientific competitions and regional and international Olympiads, alongside a marked improvement in global educational performance indicators.
Al Raya highlighted that Qatar's interest in education was not limited to the domestic level, but extends to supporting international efforts aimed at guaranteeing the right to education for all, through humanitarian and development initiatives that affirm education as a bridge to development, peace, and stability.
