Qatar: Qatar SC triumphed over Al Ahli with a 3-0 victory during their Thursday match in the second round of the Qatar Volleyball League for Men. The event, hosted at the Qatar Volleyball Association's stadium, features 10 participating clubs.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar's success was marked by set scores of 25-22, 33-31, and 25-18. This win elevated their total points to 28, securing them the fifth position in the league standings, while Al Ahli remains sixth with 20 points.
In another match, Al Gharafa achieved a 3-1 victory against Al Khor. The set scores were 25-16, 31-33, 25-18, and 25-23. As a result, Al Gharafa's points increased to 7, placing them ninth, whereas Al Khor maintains their seventh position with 11 points.
The league's second division competitions are set to continue next Tuesday with two scheduled matches. Al Sadd, currently in tenth place with 3 points, will face Al Shamal, who holds the eighth position with 9 points. Meanwhile, Police, ranked third with 30 points, is slated to compete against Qatar SC, now in fifth place with 28 points.
