Doha: Qatar SC coach Marquez Lopez confirmed his squad's readiness to extend their positive run against Umm Salal on Sunday at Suheim Bin Hamad Stadium, as both teams look to climb the Doha Bank Stars League table. Lopez told media, "We have prepared for the Umm Salal match as usual, but we will miss one of our players due to injury, Lukas Kalvach. Despite this, we must be fully prepared for this match."

According to Qatar News Agency, Umm Salal coach Patrice Carteron also spoke to the media, stressing: "The team will enter the match with great ambition to achieve a positive result and continue our journey to improve position in the standings." Carteron added, "The match against Qatar SC will be tough and difficult for both sides. The opposing team has distinguished players and a highly-qualified coach, but we have a strong desire within the group to secure the three points."

He underlined: "Playing in the QSL Cup was extremely beneficial for the team. QSL Cup matches gave us a great opportunity to prepare the players physically and mentally, and also helped us correct some tactical aspects." Carteron concluded, "We are competing seriously in the tournament because we believe in our ability to reach the final. The team has succeeded in winning the title before and our goal now is to repeat that achievement."
