Doha:The State of Qatar has reported welcoming 2.95 million visitors through its land, air, and sea entry points during the first ten months of 2026.

According to Hukoomi, data from Qatar Tourism revealed a 21.7% increase in the number of visitors in October, with 336,000 arrivals compared to 276,000 in September.

The data highlighted the diversity of visitor source markets to Qatar during the January-October 2026 period. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries topped the list, contributing 39.9% of the total with 1.176 million visitors. Asia and Oceania followed with 630,000 visitors, representing 21.4% of the total.

Europe ranked third, accounting for 21% of the total with 620,000 visitors, while North and South America were fourth with 216,000 visitors, or 7.3% of the total. Other Arab countries contributed 209,000 visitors, making up 7.1% of the total, and other African countries recorded 96,000 visitors, representing approximately 3.3% of the total.
