Doha: The Qatar-Somalia Joint Committee on Labour convened on Wednesday under the chairmanship of HE Minister of Labour, Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, alongside HE Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Yusuf Mohamed Adan. The meeting focused on enhancing the regulatory framework for workforce recruitment and the integration of skilled personnel into the labour markets of both nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Committee examined recent developments in bilateral cooperation within the labour sector. A key area of focus was the utilization of highly skilled and rigorously trained personnel. This initiative aims to meet the demands of Qatar's labour market while also aligning with the objectives of the Qatar National Vision 2030. The discussions highlighted the mutual benefits of strengthened regulatory measures and the potential for advancing economic and social objectives through improved labour collaboration.
