Doha: The State of Qatar has announced that it stands in solidarity with Afghanistan in curbing the impacts of the earthquake that hit the northern region of the country, resulting in hundreds of fatalities and injuries.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims, the caretaker government, and the people of Afghanistan, while wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
