Doha: The Qatar Stars League (QSL) Foundation conducted the draw for the third edition of the Electronic Qatar Stars League (E-QSL), set to take place from April 20-22. The draw revealed the groupings for the 2025-2026 season, where teams will compete in a digital format for a chance at the title and a spot in the 2026 Esports World Cup qualifiers.
According to Qatar News Agency, the participating teams in the Doha Bank Stars League have been divided into two groups consisting of six teams each. Group A features Al Rayyan, Al Duhail, Al Arabi, Qatar SC, Al Shamal, and Al Gharafa. Meanwhile, Group B includes Al Sadd, Al Sailiya, Al Wakrah, Al Shahania, Umm Salal, and Al Ahli.
The tournament format will be one-on-one matches, with the top four teams from each group advancing to the quarterfinals. This will be followed by the semifinals and the final. The E-QSL aims to bring competitive gaming to the forefront, providing a platform for teams and players to showcase their skills and vie for international opportunities.
