Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange index concluded Wednesday's trading session with a modest uptick, closing with an increase of 7.60 points or 0.08 percent, bringing the index to a level of 9,904.25 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw the trading of 191,397,932 shares, amounting to a value of QR 438,534,574.257. These transactions were executed through 26,589 deals across various sectors.

In the session, the shares of 16 companies experienced an increase, while 30 companies saw a decline in their stock prices. Additionally, six companies maintained their previous closing prices without any change.

The market capitalization at the close of trading reached QR 580,816,132,752.200, showing an increase from the previous session's market capitalization of QR 579,795,769,136.619.
