Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange index ended Tuesday's trading session with a decline of 36.92 points, or 0.33 percent, closing at 11,285.13 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw the trading of 164,212,659 shares, amounting to a total value of QR 545,370,735.018. These transactions were carried out through 41,739 deals across all sectors.
Out of the listed companies, shares of 23 rose, while another 23 experienced declines. Meanwhile, eight companies' shares remained unchanged by the end of the session.
The market capitalization at the session's close was QR 677,117,034,976.276, showing a decrease from the previous session's QR 677,928,496,583.286.
