Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced an increase of 39.69 points, or 0.36%, as trading commenced on Sunday, reaching a level of 11,098 points compared to the previous closing.

According to Qatar News Agency, the positive movement in the QSE was driven by growth across all sectors. The Telecoms sector witnessed a rise of 1.16%, while the Transportation sector increased by 1.00%. The Insurance sector saw an improvement of 0.59%, with Banks and Financial Services growing by 0.33%. Additionally, the Real Estate sector climbed by 0.28%, Industrials by 0.07%, and Consumer Goods and Services saw a modest rise of 0.01%.

By 10:00 am, a total of 16.741 million shares had been traded through 3,062 transactions, amounting to a value of QR 44.544 million.
