Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed trading on Sunday with a decrease of 4.46 points, or 0.04 percent, reaching a level of 11,222.38 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw the exchange of 108,374,692 shares, amounting to a total value of QR 279,018,058.740. This activity was conducted through 17,420 transactions, spanning all market sectors.

At the conclusion of the session, the shares of 13 companies experienced an increase, while the shares of 34 companies saw a decline. The shares of six companies remained unchanged from their previous closing prices.

The market capitalization at the end of the trading session was recorded at QR 669,847,757,066.155, a slight decrease compared to the QR 670,754,135,126.441 reported in the previous session.
