Doha:Qatar’s benchmark stock index experienced an uptick on Tuesday, climbing 23.35 points, or 0.24%, to conclude at 9,614.07 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the session reported the exchange of 156,100,801 shares, accumulating a total value of QR435.69 million through 32,402 transactions spanning all sectors.

A total of 18 companies saw their shares advance, while 32 faced declines, and three companies’ share prices remained unchanged from their prior closing values. The overall market capitalization increased to QR581.98 billion at the close, compared with QR581.22 billion recorded in the previous session.
