The State of Qatar participated in the 19th meeting of the GCC ministers and heads of the civil service and administrative development bodies held on Tuesday in Muscat, Oman.
HE President of Civil Service and Government Development Bureau Abdulaziz bin Nasser bin Mubarak Al Khalifa led the State of Qatar's delegation participating in the meeting.
Their Excellences reviewed the agenda of the meeting, chief of which are the final statement issued by the 18th meeting and the GCC strategy in civil service and human resources development. They also discussed the memorandum of GCC General-Secretariat on the unification of purchasing HR systems licenses in GCC states, as well as the recommendations made in the meeting of the GCC Undersecretaries Committee of Civil Service held on Aug. 31, 2023.
Representatives of the GCC civil service and administrative development bodies discussed, during the meeting, prospects of cooperation and joint action, along with the topics, along with future projects and plans, including the initiative of the joint program approved in the previous session of the meeting as proposed by Qatar that was organized for the first time in Doha last July.
On the margins of the meeting, a ceremony was held on Tuesday evening to honor competencies of civil service and distinguished companies in replacing and localizing jobs, alongside GCC personalities and leading institutions in social work in GCC states.
The honorees were awarded badges of GCC civil service and administrative development in appreciation of their efforts and promotion of their role in the development of human cadres.
His Excellency congratulated all honorees from Qatar and GCC states, saying that he looks forward to holding the 20th session in Qatar and welcoming brothers from civil service bodies once again after the initiative of the joint program of GCC states.
