Doha: The Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) revealed that the State of Qatar will host the 6th session of the Conference of States Parties to the Arab Anti-Corruption Convention in 2026. In a statement on Wednesday, the ACTA said that the Arab League had approved the request submitted by the State of Qatar to host the 6th session of the conference, during the 5th session of the Conference of States Parties to the Arab Anti-Corruption Convention, held at the Arab League General-Secretariat in Cairo Tuesday. HE President of President of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Hamad bin Nasser Al Misnad expressed thanks and appreciation to the Arab League for approving Qatar's hosting of the conference's next session, which would the regional and global awareness on the Arab Anti-Corruption Convention. The Arab Anti-Corruption Convention aims to operationalize the measures aimed at preventing, combating, and exposing corruption in all its forms, along with the rest of corr uption-related crimes, prosecuting their perpetrators, boosting Arab cooperation, fostering integrity, transparency, accountability and rule of law, as well as encouraging the civil society's individuals and institutions to effectively engage in preventing and combatting corruption.
