Qatar to Participate in Pan Arab Men, Seniors Championship in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: The Qatari golf team will be participating in the Pan Arab Men and Seniors Championship held at Riyadh Golf Club in Saudi Arabia.

According to Qatar News Agency, the championship will see the participation of the most skilled Arab golfers, representing 13 countries: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Morocco, Egypt, Tunisia, Lebanon, Libya, Iraq, and Palestine. The championship is one of the most notable events of its kind in the Arab world. It coincides with the celebration of the golden jubilee of the Arab Golf Federation (AGF) on its 50th anniversary, a historic milestone that reflects a long journey of success and shared work.

On the sidelines of the championship, a general assembly meeting of the Federation will be held with the participation of the national federations of its members to discuss future developments, enhancing Arab cooperation, highlight the most notable achievements of the past years, as well as the election of a new managing council to lead the next phase.

The General Secretary of the Qatar Golf Association (QGA), Fahad Nasser Al Naimi, stated that the annual championship, held by the AGF, is one of the most competitive regional championships, which sees the most well-known Arab golfers facing off. Al Naimi explained that the Qatari team finished its preparation for the event and expressed his confidence in the ability of the players to deliver an honorable performance that best reflects the development of Qatari golf.

He added that the Qatari team, which includes a diverse range of players, including young promising and skilled golfers, is aiming to achieve great results individually and in groups to reach the podiums and rank high in AGF's official ranking. The QFA General Secretary Fahad Nasser Al Naimi is heading the Qatari golf team delegation participating in the Pan Arab Men and Seniors Championship in Saudi Arabia.
