Qatar Tourism Engages in Global Dialogue at Economist Government Roundtable

Athens: Qatar Tourism participated at the 30th Annual Economist Government Roundtable, held in Athens, Greece, from 8 to 10 July. HE Saad bin Ali Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Chair of the Board of Directors of Visit Qatar, represented Qatar Tourism in the forum inaugurated by HE Constantine An. Tassoulas, President of the Hellenic Republic. The event convened senior officials, business leaders, decision-makers, and international experts to discuss enhancing global cooperation and the role of infrastructure and innovation in sustainable development.

According to Qatar News Agency, His Excellency Saad bin Ali Al Kharji engaged in the main panel discussion titled "Connecting Regions, Communities and Countries - Promoting Resilience and Prosperity," alongside other international leaders. The session delved into how international cooperation can drive sustainable growth and resilience. His Excellency highlighted Qatar's strategies in fortifying the tourism sector's resilience through effective crisis management and collaborative efforts, emphasizing the significance of resilience in maintaining confidence among investors and travelers and as a crucial element for sustainable growth in the sector.

Qatar Tourism's active participation underscores its dedication to enhancing its global presence, reinforcing strategic alliances, and sharing its vision for a sustainable tourism industry with global policymakers, investors, and business leaders.
