Doha: The State of Qatar welcomed the efforts of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, which led to a ceasefire agreement between the United States of America and the designated authorities in Sanaa in the Republic of Yemen. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed optimism that this development will contribute to the freedom of navigation and the free flow of international commercial shipping.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry renewed Qatar's full support for diplomacy and dialogue in resolving regional issues. This stance is rooted in Qatar's belief in enhancing security, peace, stability, and development at both regional and international levels. The statement also highlighted Qatar's appreciation for Oman's constructive role in reaching the agreement.
