Qatar Wins Three Medals at Arab Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship

Alexandria: Qatar won three medals - two gold and one silver - at the Arab Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship, held over seven days in Alexandria, Egypt. The tournament ran alongside the Ibrahim Mustafa International Championship and the Arab Clubs Championship. According to Qatar News Agency, Shaheen Mohammed secured the first gold medal in the 82 kg weight class, and Aref Hussein took the second gold in the 63 kg weight class. Ali Al Mutawa claimed silver in the 63 kg weight class. The Qatari participation is part of the Qatar Boxing and Wrestling Federation's plan to properly prepare its boxers for upcoming tournaments and competitions. These results highlight the professional level of the Qatari national team's champions, confirming their strong entry into the Arab Greco-Roman wrestling competitions.
