Doha: Member of Qatar Foundation, QatarDebate Center, held the Doha Forum Youth Edition 2024 on Wednesday, attracting a distinguished group of youth speakers from 90 countries, alongside global experts and partners, to discuss pressing global issues. The event, serving as a precursor to the Doha Forum 2024 scheduled for December 7-8, emphasized the significance of innovative solutions under the theme, "The Innovation Imperative." This edition offered an exceptional platform for youth worldwide to engage in meaningful dialogues about humanity's most significant challenges. According to Qatar News Agency, the forum highlighted the necessity of innovation amidst global disruptions affecting security, climate, economy, and governance. It empowered young leaders to develop transformative solutions to address these challenges. The event commenced with opening remarks by Abdulrahman Al Subaie, Program Director at QatarDebate Center, who underscored the forum's role as a global stage for dialogue and exchange of ide as. Al Subaie reflected on QatarDebate's journey, noting its evolution from modest local beginnings to a platform with international influence, producing a generation of articulate youth who represent their nations globally. He emphasized the strong partnership with Doha Forum as crucial to achieving the vision of a brighter future. Al Subaie stressed the importance of youth voices in reimagining traditional ideas and fostering global collaboration. In his address, Mubarak Ajlan Al Kuwari, Executive Director of the Permanent Committee for Organizing Conferences, described the forum as a pivotal moment filled with youth-led ideas and ambitions. He affirmed the forum's role as an open space for youth to express ideas and drive change, acknowledging them as future leaders with the potential to guide the world toward a better future. The event featured inspiring keynote speeches on topics such as cultural diplomacy, technological development, geopolitics, security, and economic development, captivating the youn g audience from across the globe.
