Qatari Bandar Al Shafi Named Chairman of Technical Committee of Asian Bowling Federation

Doha: The Asian Bowling Federation has announced the appointment of Bandar Mubarak Al Shafi, Secretary General of the Qatar Bowling Federation and member of the Executive Office of the Continental Federation, as Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Asian Federation and a member of the Technical Committee of the International Federation, representing the Asian continent. The decision of the Asian Federation comes as a culmination of the great efforts made and an affirmation of the value and capabilities of Qatari cadres at all levels, as Qatari bowling has provided technical and administrative cadres for several years to play important roles. The tournaments hosted by Qatari bowling at various levels have contributed to demonstrating these capabilities, through which the Federation is keen to open the way for assigning these cadres with technical and organizational tasks to gain experience. Bandar Al Shafi is one of the well-known Qatari figures in bowling locally, continentally and internationally, a s a player and administrator. He achieved many accomplishments with the big stars and his companions in a previous era, in terms of championships, continental and international titles.
