Doha: The Qatari men's beach volleyball team, comprising Sherif Younis and Ahmed Tejan, has been ranked 12th in the FIVB world rankings.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari team accumulated 4,780 points to secure their position. In the global rankings, the Norwegian duo of Anders Berntsen Mol and Christian Sorom claimed first place with 8,600 points, while the Swedish team of David Ahman and Jonatan Hellvig finished second with 7,220 points.

Last Saturday, the Qatari team celebrated a significant victory by clinching the gold medal at the Asian Open Men's Beach Volleyball Tour. They defeated the Australian team 2-0 in the final match held at Al Gharafa Beach in Qatar.
