Doha: Qatari newspapers highlighted the depth of fraternal relations that Qatar shares with neighboring countries, as evidenced by recent visits from key regional leaders. On Wednesday, HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HH Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and HRH Crown Prince of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II met with HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in Doha. These meetings underscored the solidarity with Qatar and its people.
According to Qatar News Agency, the newspapers emphasized the unprecedented global support for Qatar, marked by phone calls and high-level visits, in response to the Israeli attack. This support highlights Qatar's significance on the world stage. Al-Sharq newspaper noted the continuous expressions of solidarity from world leaders and emphasized Qatar's role as a symbol of peace and dialogue, contrasting it with the isolation faced by Israel due to its actions.
Al-Sharq also reported that HH the Amir has been actively receiving calls from international leaders expressing condemnation of the Israeli aggression. The visits by regional leaders further confirmed the strong fraternal bonds with Qatar and the solidarity shared among these nations.
In its editorial, Al-Watan newspaper pointed out the implications of the widespread solidarity with Qatar. It reflects Qatar's standing on the global stage and the growing international condemnation of Israeli actions. The newspaper highlighted that during the meeting with the UAE President, HH the Amir reiterated his condemnation of the Israeli aggression and called for international efforts to address this behavior.
