Beirut:Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani has met with Lebanese Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal to discuss bilateral cooperation and efforts to enhance security and stability in Lebanon.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting occurred on Friday during Sheikh Mohammed’s visit to the Lebanese capital.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Qatar and Lebanon, with Sheikh Mohammed reaffirming Qatar’s ongoing support for Lebanon and its national institutions, including the Lebanese Armed Forces. He also emphasized Doha’s commitment to Lebanon’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
