A team of Qatari students participated in the International Physics Olympiad 2024, held in Moscow, Russia. The event, organized by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with support from the Russian Ministry of Education, aimed to highlight the students' skills, abilities, and knowledge in theoretical and applied physics. The team received distinguished certificates, with student Omar Mohammed Al Emadi from Qatar Science and Technology School receiving an honorary certificate. Additionally, student Vivek Aditya from the Indian Islamic School received an honorary certificate and a Diamond Excellence Award. The participating team consisted of five students. The physics instructors at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's Educational Guidance Department trained the team after passing several elimination stages under the supervision of competent international and local trainers specializing in the field. It is worth noting that the International Physics Olympiad is considered one of the sp ecialized competitions in the field of physics worldwide. Source: Qatar News Agency
