Doha: The Qatar Athletics Federation (QAF) announced on Tuesday the national team's participation in the 12th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships, slated to be held in Tianjin, China, from February 6 to 8, with the participation of 400 athletes representing the continent. According to Qatar News Agency, the QAF stated on its official social media accounts that the Qatari team includes a number of distinguished indoor track and field athletes, among them Ammar Ismail, Ashraf Hussein, Ismail Dawood, and Abubaker Hussein. The Qatari team is set to compete in the 60-meter hurdles, 400-meter and 800-meter races, the 4x400-meter relay, and the high jump.
