Qatari Team Win Silver Medal in Men’s Team Trap at Asian Shotgun Championships in China

Doha: The Qatari shooting team secured the silver medal in the men's team trap shooting competition at the Asian Shotgun Championships, which are currently being held in China. The event is set to conclude tomorrow, Wednesday, featuring significant participation from shooters across the Asian continent.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari team consisting of shooters Mohammed Al Rumaihi, Saeed Abu Shareb, and Nasser Al Humaidi achieved second place in the trap competition. The Kuwaiti team clinched the gold medal, while the Iranian team secured the bronze.

Qatari shooter Mohammed Al Rumaihi also achieved a new personal milestone, equaling the Asian record by scoring 124 out of a possible 125 traps in the five rounds of the men's team trap competition. He achieved perfect scores of 25 in the first, third, fourth, and fifth rounds, and scored 24 in the second round.

This accomplishment has raised the Qatari national team's medal tally in the tournament to five medals.
