Doha: October 29 - The Qatari Volleyball Team participate in the 23rd Arab Men's Championship, which kicks off on Wednesday, in Bahrain and will continue until Nov. 11. Eight Arab teams are participating in the tournament, divided into two groups. The first group includes the teams of the Sultanate of Oman, Iraq, Tunisia and Bahrain, while the second group includes Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Saeed Al Hitmi, a member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Volleyball Association, heads the team's mission that left the country Tuesday, for Bahrain. The Qatari team prepared well for the tournament through comprehensive training, in addition to playing several friendly matches with club teams to raise the level of readiness, as the team aspires to achieve an honorable performance and positive results that contribute to enhancing the status of national sports at the Arab level.
