According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ) was also present at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting, held from January 19 to 23, 2026, in Davos, Switzerland. This participation underscores Qatar's commitment to fostering international economic relations and showcasing its business-friendly environment.
In a separate notable event, the Katara Cultural Village Foundation, in partnership with the Business Forum, conducted a seminar titled "Artificial Intelligence and Medicine" as part of the 27th Katara Forum. This seminar reflects Qatar's focus on integrating advanced technology into various sectors, including healthcare.
Meanwhile, the seventh edition of the Souq Waqif Equestrian Festival 2026 featured heritage activities and competitions for children, highlighting Qatar's dedication to preserving and promoting its cultural heritage.
Further diplomatic engagements included a meeting between HE Minister of State for Interior Affairs, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani, and HE Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Colombia, Pedro Arnulfo Sanchez.
