Doha: The State of Qatar continues to make significant strides toward its vision of a prosperous future, with its institutions actively working to turn the Qatar National Vision 2030 (QNV2030) into reality. The nation has achieved considerable progress in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and social welfare, further enhancing its reputation as a hub for investment in competitive sectors like technology and tourism.

According to Qatar News Agency, the nation's economy remains robust, with steady growth and a strong financial sector supported by increased international reserves and foreign currency assets at the Qatar Central Bank by the end of 2024. Qatar's high sovereign credit rating among global agencies underscores its resilience and appeal as a stable investment destination.

Qatar has excelled in global rankings, leading the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in the 2025 Global Peace Index, securing 27th place globally out of 163 countries. This achievement highlights Qatar's safety and social security, placing it among the top 10 safest countries worldwide.

Additionally, Qatar reached 9th place globally in the 2025 Global Competitiveness Report by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), marking its first entry into the top ten. The nation improved its workplace efficiency ranking significantly and maintained strong positions in economic performance and government efficiency.

Moreover, Qatar's strategic investments have elevated its position in the Global Digital Competitiveness Index, now ranking 20th globally. The nation also won awards for digital transformation at the GCC e-Government Award 2025 and improved its standing in the Global Innovation Index, showcasing its dedication to innovation and a knowledge-based economy.

Qatar's healthcare sector ranks first in the Arab world and MENA region in the Number Healthcare Index, reflecting its high standards and commitment to adopting global practices. The country's efforts in sustainable food security are recognized in the Global Food Security Index, where it ranks second in the Arab world and 24th globally.

The nation also made notable advances in public transport and maritime trade. MWANI QATAR's handling of over 1.11 million standard containers highlights its pivotal role in maritime trade. Hamad Port's achievements include ranking first in the Gulf region and 11th globally in the Container Port Performance Index 2024.

Hamad International Airport (HIA) expanded its capacity to over 65 million passengers annually, maintaining its position as a top global airport and winning accolades for excellence in shopping.
