Qatar’s Students Win Three Awards in UAE’s Future Science Challenge

Abu Dhabi: Qatari students have won three prestigious awards in the fourth edition of the Future Science Challenge, organized by the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Center for Giftedness and Innovation in the United Arab Emirates. This recognition underscores their excellence and leadership in the fields of innovation, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things.

According to Qatar News Agency, the competition was launched with the participation of 501 teams representing 12 Arab countries, who presented their projects via an interactive virtual platform. Qatar demonstrated significant participation through its student teams, with eight teams qualifying for the final stage, three of which won in forty approved categories.

The Qatari teams also received three appreciation awards from the judging panel, reflecting the progress made in the academic and creative performance of Qatari students. The winning students were honored during the closing ceremony of the competition, attended by a number of Their Excellencies, educational officials, and representatives of international and regional organizations.

Supreme Chairman of the Foundation Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum honored the winning student teams across the Arab world. Brooq Primary School for Girls won the "Best Designer" award in the Junior category for the "Better Together" team. Moza Bint Mohammed Primary School for Girls won the "Best Presenter" award in the Junior category for the "Moza Ambassadors" team. Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys won the "Best Engineer" award in the Professional category for the "Ai Pioneers" team.

This achievement is a strong incentive to promote a culture of innovation among students in Qatar and a clear indicator of the country's progress in nurturing young talent, contributing to the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, particularly in the fields of innovation, technology, and the knowledge-based economy.
