New york: HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani participated in the meeting of Their Excellencies Permanent Representatives of the Extended Troika of the Arab Group with HE the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, regarding illegal Israeli decisions and measures aimed at imposing Israeli sovereignty in the West Bank.

According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations emphasized the necessity of full implementation of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, affirming Qatar's continued coordination with international partners to support efforts in this framework.

Their Excellencies the Permanent Representatives of the Extended Troika of the Arab Group expressed the group's strong condemnation and opposition to any form of annexation in the West Bank, stressing that these measures constitute a blatant violation of international law and obstruct international efforts to safeguard the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the right to self-determination, the end of the occupation, and the establishment of their independent sovereign state on the June 4, 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
