QC Explores Opportunities for Cooperation, Partnership between Qatari, Turkish Private Sectors

Doha: Qatar Chamber (QC) discussed strengthening economic and trade relations with a trade delegation from the Republic of Trkiye as well as explored opportunities for cooperation and partnership between the Qatari and Turkish private sectors in various industries, with particular emphasis on marble and natural stone. This came as First Vice-Chairman of the QC Mohamed bin Twar Al Kuwari met with Chairman of the Board of the Sivas Chamber of Commerce and Industry Zeki Ozdemir, in the presence of Chairman of the Turkish Business Council - Qatar, affiliated with the Foreign Economic Relations Council of Trkiye (DEIK), Abdullah Altunkum.

According to Qatar News Agency, Mohamed bin Twar praised the strong relations between Qatar and Trkiye, highlighting Trkiye as one of Qatar's most important trading partners. He emphasized the Qatar Chamber's commitment to developing joint cooperation across multiple sectors and affirmed the Chamber's readiness to assist the Turkish delegation in identifying trading partners and facilitating entry into the Qatari market, noting the country's advanced infrastructure and numerous investment opportunities in free and economic zones.

Meanwhile, Zeki Ozdemir stated that the delegation includes a leading group of Turkish companies specializing in the marble and natural stone sectors, eager to invest in the Qatari market. He also provided an overview of Sivas city and the Sivas Chamber, which was established 100 years ago and comprises a large network of companies operating across multiple sectors. He highlighted the significant development witnessed in the city in the fields of trade, industry, optical military industries, and tourism.
