Qatar Chamber (QC), yesterday, launched the ‘Qatar Economic and Commercial Activities Guide 2022’, which it issued in conjunction with the hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. It contains business establishment procedures and factory establishment guidelines, in addition to glimpses of the law regulating the investment of non-Qatari capital in economic activity, as well as investment sectors, institutions, and bodies related to investment.

The Guide was launched by HE Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Faisal Al Thani, Deputy CEO and Chief Strategy Officer at the Qatar Free Zones Authority, and Saleh bin Hamad Al Sharqi, QC General Manager, in the presence of several businessmen and representatives of sponsoring institutions.

QC General Manager stressed that the issuance of the Economic and Commercial Activities Guide, which is a comprehensive guide on establishing businesses in Qatar, came from the Chamber’s keenness to familiarize visitors to the country and fans of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with the country’s business sectors, economic, and commercial activities.
