Doha: HE Governor of the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani met with HE Minister of Finance and Economic Planning of the Republic of Sudan, Dr. Gibril Ibrahim, and HE Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan, Amna Mirghani Hassan Al-Toum. During the meeting, they discussed key aspects of bilateral relations between the two countries in banking and finance and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions highlighted the mutual interests of Qatar and Sudan in enhancing financial ties. Both parties expressed a commitment to deepening collaboration in financial sectors and considered initiatives to support economic growth in their respective countries.
