Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has kept interest rates for deposits, lending and repurchases unchanged, based on an evaluation of the State of Qatar’s current monetary policies.
QCB has set the Deposit Rate (QCBDR) at 5.50 percent, the Lending Rate (QCBLR) at 6.00 percent, and QCB Repo Rate at 5.75 percent, according to a statement on Thursday.
The statement said that QCB would continue the assessment of the country’s economic conditions to address all aspects that may affect the financial stability, and review its monetary policy when necessary to deal with any changes in economic requirements.
