QDB Backs Qatar Trade and Treasury Transformation Summit 2025 as Development Partner

Doha: Qatar Chamber announced that the Qatar Development Bank (QDB) is supporting the Qatar Trade and Treasury Transformation Summit 2025 as the Development Partner. The summit is held under the patronage of HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani and is organized by Qatar Chamber and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Qatar), and co-organized by MERGE Events.

According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar Chamber Acting General Manager Ali Bu Sharbak Al Mansori expressed delight in welcoming QDB as the Development Partner for the summit. He emphasized that QDB's support underscores its role in empowering the national economy and fostering innovation in financial and commercial sectors. He noted that their partnership adds significant value to the summit's objectives in promoting digital transformation and enhancing financial efficiency in the region.

Vice President of Enterprise Development and Executive Director of Qatar Exports in QDB, Khalid Abdulla Al Mana, stated the bank's pride in participating in the summit. He highlighted that the event serves as a platform for fostering collaboration and driving excellence in digital transformation. The summit's focus on trade finance and payment solutions aligns with QDB's efforts to support innovation in this sector. Through initiatives like Qatar FinTech Hub (QFTH), QDB is promoting advancements in trade and finance, reaffirming its commitment to working alongside national partners to achieve shared objectives, in line with the Third National Development Strategy and Qatar National Vision 2030.

The summit brings together experts from the GCC and beyond to explore trends in trade, digital banking, and treasury innovation, aiming to accelerate digital transformation and foster innovation in trade finance and payment solutions.
