Doha: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) has released the fixtures for the preliminary round of the 2025-26 Amir Cup. The matches, scheduled to begin on January 10, will be played in a knockout format, with four teams advancing to the round of 16.

According to Qatar News Agency, the matches will be held across four stadiums. The fixtures include Al Sailiya facing Muaither at Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, Al Markhiya going against Mesaimeer at Thani bin Jassim Stadium, Al Khartiyat versus Al Bidda at Hamad bin Khalifa Stadium, and Al Waab clashing with Lusail at Hamad Al Kabeer Stadium.

In the event of a draw after normal time, the knockout ties will extend to 30 minutes of extra time. If the score remains tied, a penalty shootout will decide the winner. The preliminary round matchups are determined by the final standings of the 2024-25 Qatari Second Division, with Al Sailiya, Al Markhiya, Al Khartiyat, Al Waab, Lusail, Al Bidda, Mesaimeer, and Muaither holding first to eighth places respectively.
