Doha: HE Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ) Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Faisal Al-Thani met with HE Minister of Commerce and Industry of India Piyush Goyal during the latter's visit to the State of Qatar. The meeting was part of the joint commission meeting on trade and commerce between the two countries.

According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions between the two sides focused on cooperation efforts and the exchange of experiences in the fields of trade and investments attraction. They also explored the investment opportunities and benefits provided by Qatar's free zones, which are designed to attract companies to invest and establish their businesses in Qatar.
