Doha: The Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC), in collaboration with Gatehouse Chambers and LexisNexis Middle East, organized a seminar on Fraud Claims, Missing Assets, and Effective Techniques for Their Preservation and Recovery. The seminar highlighted the latest developments in fraud litigation and asset recovery processes. According to Qatar News Agency, the event leveraged the expertise of Gatehouse Chambers members who have participated in significant cases in the courts of England and Wales. The seminar explored how these cases are shaping practices in international commercial courts, such as the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Civil and Commercial Court and Regulatory Tribunal. Attendees received practical guidance on asset preservation applications, innovative strategies for imposing freezing injunctions, and witness examination during interim proceedings. The seminar also shared insights from notable recent cases, including Mold Investments Ltd v Holloway and others [2025 ] EWHC 962; [2025] EWCA Civ 986, and the ongoing Skatteforvaltningen v Solo Capital Partners LLP case.
