QMMF President: Le Mans Participation Boosts Qatar’s Global Motorsports Presence

Doha: President of the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) and Lusail International Circuit Abdulrahman Abdullatif Al Mannai emphasized that the participation of team Qatar in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race, one of the oldest endurance races in the world, promotes Qatar's global presence in motorsports.

According to Qatar News Agency, Al Mannai in press remarks highlighted that this historic first-time participation of team Qatar in the race represents a significant milestone reflecting QMMF's strategic commitment to international motorsports and the inclusion of Qatari talents on the global stage.

He further elaborated that the participation of team Qatar in the race, scheduled for June 13-14 at the Circuit de la Sarthe in France, represents both an honor and a responsibility. Al Mannai expressed his satisfaction with the Qatari presence in this renowned global motorsport event, which annually attracts an elite group of key drivers, manufacturers, and international teams.

Al Mannai also noted that team Qatar has achieved commendable results in the Middle East Endurance Championship races over the past two seasons and has undergone intensive preparations recently. He expressed confidence in the team's technical readiness and determination to represent the State of Qatar in the best possible manner during their participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race.
